Five others arrested have been bailed pending further enquires, the Met Police say.

In an earlier statement Detective Chief Inspector Richard Leonard, leading the investigation, said: “I understand that this is an extremely shocking incident for the residents of this area and the wider community.

“Please be assured that my team are working very hard to understand the circumstance of this terrible event.

“The investigation is at a very early stage, but we currently believe that many of those caught up in the tragic incident are from South American communities.
